CoRoT-7b is a super earth exoplanet that orbits a K-type star. Discovered in 2009, its mass is 4.08661 times that of Earth’s. It is in the Monoceros constellation, about 500 lightyears away, and is remarkably close to its star,CoRoT-7. This star appears 360 times larger than Earth's sun in our sky. A typical sunrise onCoRoT-7b begins at 1800 degrees Fahrenheit to over 4700 degrees Fahrenheit. The only known planet in our universe whose composition is suspected of being completely of molten lava.
All the low instruments, often playing pedal tones, represent the lava. There are two distinct sections of music depicting the rise in temperature: “Lava Fireflies” and “Dance with the Devil.”
The end of the movement programmatically reaching the 4700-degree temperature of the lava! This would instantly vaporize a human.
