How do I set up tax-exempt purchasing?

Submit your tax-exempt documentation to Giroux Music before placing your order. Julie must set up your exemption in Shopify. You will receive an email from Julie confirming that your tax exemption is live.

Please wait for that confirmation email before purchasing. If you purchase music before your exemption has been activated, tax will be charged on that purchase.

Which email address must I use for tax-exempt purchases?

Only one email address can be registered for your tax exemption with Giroux Music. Provide that email address when submitting your documentation, and use it for every tax-exempt purchase. Purchases made using another email address will not receive the exemption.

Why do I still see tax at checkout?

Once Julie has confirmed that your exemption is live, tax may still appear during checkout, but you will not be charged that tax. Only purchases made using your registered tax-exempt email address qualify.
