Here's what Julie has to say about this special project. "I am so excited to be able to help our wounded military. All 8 of my uncles served as did my Father. My mom's oldest brother was a Flying Tiger, and my Great Grandfather died not 6 miles from here in the Jackson Veterans Hospital from a head injury he sustained in a tank battle during WWII. This means a lot to all of us."
Thank you for helping us serve by raising funds for those who sacrifice so much as they serve their country.
PROGRAM NOTES:
This is a setting for Taps using 3 solo trumpets. It is not to be used as a replacement for Taps.
This setting could be used in an indoor memorial service for a president or other high ranking official as a tribute.
This is a setting of Taps which is meant to show respect and give tribute to all that have served this country past, present and future. The 3 Solo trumpets play the actual taps but in different ways as the music progresses. The band plays several roles, as support as well as taking over at the end. The ending is triumphant and powerful praising all those who have served their country. With this music we can thank, honor and give our utmost respect to all of them; let them know their service will never be forgotten.
